Aufgaben:

• In cooperation with cross functional teams and other departments, develop manufacturing plans for new products
• Responsible for development projects’ manufacturing engineering deliverables during concept, development, realization, validation, and launch phase
• Ensure compliance to safety rules, capital investment, direct labor, machine rate / cycle time, capabilities/repeatability targets and scrap assumptions established during the project
• Work with engineering team to execute and deliver projects within approved timelines and budget
• Define or participate to production equipment definition (specification documents and book of duty) following company standarts and lessons learned
• Coordinate or participate to equipment acceptance activities with cross functional teams and other departments
• Analyze internal/external customer requirements and define risks to project activities
• Participate to PFMEA activities and report analysis to project team
• Develop or propose new ideas or solutions for equipment and tooling

Anforderung:

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience within automotive/manufacturing market
• Working knowledge of vehicle system level components and functions
• Solid understanding of engineering financials (Cap-Ex Planning and equipment costing) and project timelines.
• Knowledge in the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, 5S, Pokayoke
• Knowledge of Autocad
• Fluent in English is a must. German or French is considered as an advantage
• Ability to analyze and prioritize
